Key Personnel

Pat Duncan is Chairman and CEO of USAA Real Estate Company, the real estate acquisition, development and management arm of parent company USAA, an insurance and financial services association with 8 million members worldwide.

Pat oversees a portfolio of real estate projects that exceeds $7 billion, including office buildings, industrial projects, land holdings, shopping centers and hotels.

Len O'Donnell is President and Chief Operating Officer of USAA Real Estate Company.  He oversees all operations of the company, including Acquisitions, Private Equity, Capital Markets and Portfolio Management.  Len also oversees the management of USAA's co-investment value-added funds including the Admiral Fund and Crimson Real Estate Fund. 

Will McIntosh is Global Head of Research for USAA Real Estate Company, the commercial real estate investment and management arm of USAA. Will is responsible for developing commercial real estate investment strategy and managing in-house global research with the objective of informing and enhancing the real estate investment process.

As Executive Managing Director, Private Equity Group, Susan has structured numerous investment transactions including credit enhancements, limited partnerships, joint ventures, securities, real estate investment trusts and limited liability companies.

As Managing Director, Private Equity Group, Steve is responsible for the implementation of investment strategies for fund and separate account investments, investor relations and capital raising activities.

As Managing Director, Private Equity Group, Scott is responsible for the implementation of investment strategies for fund and separate account investments, investor relations and capital raising activities.

As Executive Managing Director, Dirk is responsible for fund development and implementation of USAA Real Estate Company’s US Eagle Fund, LLC which invests in a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate assets including office properties, retail shopping centers, multi-family apartment buildings, hotels, and mixed-used properties that offer value-add investment returns.

As Executive Managing Director of Real Estate Investments, Bruce is responsible for transactions related to development, acquisitions and dispositions. He works directly with internal equity allocation functions, as well as capital structuring for build-to-suit and development transactions and joint venture arrangements for USAA Real Estate Company. In addition, Bruce heads up the company's capital markets and financing efforts for all third party financing transactions.

Bruce is based in the company's San Antonio, Texas office.

As Managing Director of Acquisitions and Capital Markets, Tim is responsible for all financing transactions related to third-party debt for USAA's investment real estate portfolio. Tim is also responsible for property acquisitions including sourcing transactions, financial modeling, property and market underwriting, due diligence, closings and all other aspects of the acquisition process.

Tim's primary responsibility is for all property acquisitions in the Southeast Region. He is based in the company's San Antonio, Texas office.

As Managing Director, Acquisitions and Dispositions, John's responsibilities include marketing, negotiating, documenting, closing and related activities for all real estate disposition transactions. In addition, John handles acquisitions of the company's hotel assets.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, John serves as a primary point of contact for real estate investors and lenders in the funding process of various transactions.

As Managing Director, Industrial Development, David is responsible for targeting industrial opportunities for USAA Real Estate Company and service opportunities for the company's service subsidiary, USAA Realty Company.

The development line of business focuses on industrial, office, retail and hotel projects in major metropolitan areas that fit the specific requirement of the client.

As Managing Director, Rob is responsible for targeting office and medical office development opportunities throughout the United States.  Rob's extensive background in office product leasing and project management affords the company and clients a unique perspective on cost efficiency.

As Executive Director of Multi-Family & Mixed-Use Development for USAA Real Estate Company, Hailey is responsible for targeting multi-family and mixed-use investment opportunities across the United States.  Additionally, her responsibilities include investment strategy, multi-disciplinary investment analysis and project execution.  Hailey is a licensed Architect in the State of Texas (#18629).

As Managing Director, Steve is responsible for new business development in the Western Region including development and build-to-suits.

In addition, Steve handles real estate acquisitions in the Southern California, South Nevada and Arizona areas for the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process including sourcing transactions, market and property underwriting, due diligence and closing.

Steve is based in the company's Irvine, California office.

As Managing Director, Bruce is responsible for new business development in the Northeast Region including development and build-to-suits.

In addition, Bruce handles real estate acquisitions in the Virginia, Maryland and the Washington D.C. areas for the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process including sourcing transactions, market and property underwriting, due diligence and closing.

Bruce is based in the company's Bethesda, Maryland office.

As Managing Director, Greg is responsible for new business development in the Southeast Region including development and build-to-suits.

In addition, Greg handles real estate acquisitions in the Southeast Region including Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee areas for the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process including sourcing transactions, market and property underwriting, due diligence and closing.

Greg is based in the company's Tampa, Florida office.

As Executive Director, David is responsible for new business development in the North Central and Midwest Regions including development and build-to-suits.

In addition, David handles real estate acquisitions in the Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and Wisconsin areas for the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process including sourcing transactions, market and property underwriting, due diligence and closing.

David is based in the company's Chicago, Illinois office.

As Executive Director of Real Estate Investments, Justin is responsible for new business development including development and acquisitions in the Northwest U.S., primarily in the states of Idaho, North Nevada, North California, Utah, Oregon and Washington.  He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including identifying and sourcing opportunities, property and market underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and closing.

Justin is based in the company's San Francisco, California office.

As Director of Real Estate Investments, Jason is responsible for new business development including development and acquisitions in the South and Midwest U.S., primarily in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana.  He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including identifying and sourcing opportunities, property and market underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and closing.

Jason is based in the company's San Antonio, Texas office.
 

As Director, Peter is responsible for USAA Real Estate Company's investment activities in the Northeastern U.S., including New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.  These responsibilities include sourcing investment opportunities in both acquisitions and development, market and property underwriting, due diligence and closing.

Peter is based in the company's San Antonio, Texas office.

As Senior Associate of Capital Markets, Austin is responsible for sourcing financing, lender underwriting, and closing permanent and construction loans as well as lines of credit.  Additionally, Austin sources and manages the process to acquire performing and non-performing notes and lender REO as well as commercial mortgage-backed securities.  Austin works closely with the acquisition and development team members, legal department, accounting/treasury management, portfolio managers and third party lenders.

Austin is based in the company's San Antonio, Texas office.

As Executive Managing Director, Stanley's primary responsibilities include asset management and supervision of the industrial line of business for USAA Real Estate Company.  In addition, Stanley handles all risk management responsibilities for the company.

As Executive Managing Director, Sam is responsible for fund development and implementation with his current focus being portfolio management of office, medical office, retail, hospitality and mult-family lines of business for USAA Real Estate Company in addition to a Government focused program.

As Managing Director, Brenna's primary responsibilities include portfolio manager of Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, and Medical Office lines of business for USAA Real Estate Company, including leasing, management and overall strategy execution.  Brenna also is responsible for overseeing the property management service delivery for the company's national portfolio encompassing approximately 65.5 million square feet.

As Executive Director, Trey is primarily responsible for the management of USAA Real Estate Company office real estate portfolio.  His duties involve asset and risk management, the direction of leasing and property management in addition to financial reporting.

Samira oversees the asset management and operations of all hotels, on behalf of USAA Real Estate Company and its investment partners.  The portfolio is currently comprised of full-service hotels across the United States, including the Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, and eight other full-service hotels in the Doubletree, Hilton and Renaissance brands.

As Executive Director, Phillip is primarily responsible for the portfolio management of the retail line of business for USAA Real Estate Company.  His duties involve asset and risk management, the direction of leasing and portfolio management in addition to financial reporting. He is also responsible for coordinating and implementing USAA Real Estate Company's retail development and single tenant net lease program activities throughout the United States.

As Executive Director, Jason is primarily responsible for the asset management of the industrial line of business for USAA Real Estate Company.  His duties involve asset and risk management, the direction of leasing and property management in addition to financial reporting.

As Director, Todd oversees the operation and performance of office properties for USAA Real Estate Company.  His duties include the preparation and implementation of property business plans in addition to conducting necessary financial analysis, marketing, forecasting, and the positioning of assets with recommendations for value creation.

Todd is based in the company's San Antonio, Texas office.

As Director, Lange is primarily responsible for the asset management of the industrial line of business for USAA Real Estate Company.  His duties involve asset and risk management, the direction of leasing and property management in addition to financial reporting.

As Chief Legal Officer, Steve Waters manages the company’s legal staff, which is responsible for all legal and compliance-related matters for the company, its 9 subsidiaries, and 50+ affiliated entities. RealCo’s legal staff handles the negotiation and documentation of acquisition and disposition transactions, development and financing transactions, co-investment structuring, and property management and leasing for all of the company’s portfolios, and provides legal advice to management in the home office and the five regional offices.

As Senior Financial Officer for USAA Real Estate Company, Pat is responsible for coordinating all banking and financing relationships. Pat is also responsible for the Accounting and Reporting functions for USAA Real Estate operations and also oversees the Treasury and the Strategic Planning process.

Sharon is responsible for all internal and external business communications, media relations, event planning and creative services.  Sharon's department also provides market research and implements all customer satisfaction surveys for the company.
