MainPlace was acquired in 2015 as part of a five-mall portfolio in a venture with Centennial Real Estate Company.
MainPlace is a super-regional mall located in Santa Ana, the third-most populous county in California – just minutes away from Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Convention Center. This three-story mall is home to nearly 150 retail stores, including some of the most popular brands in fashion and beauty, 10 restaurants, two department stores, and a six-screen movie theater.
The investment provided an opportunity to reimagine the mall and the surrounding parking lots. MainPlace will be uniquely densified by redeveloping underutilized parcels into a multifamily-centric, mixed-use environment.
